A New Level of Strength and Durability—for Products and Partnerships

RENO, Nev. (June 30, 2009) – Starting July 1, 2009 Interlock USA, a full-service window and door hardware supplier based in Reno, Nev., will be the only North American distributor of window and door hardware solutions manufactured by the Siegenia-Aubi group, consisting of the companies SIEGENIA-AUBI KG, Wilnsdorf (SIEGENIA-AUBI) and KFV Karl Fliether GmbH & Co. KG, Velbert (KFV), based in Germany.

“The focus is on quality,” said Adrian Vicker, divisional managing director of Siegenia-Aubi in the United Kingdom. “We have chosen to streamline our sales and marketing effort through dedicated partnerships. Our goal is to have a North American partner who can offer insight into their market, develop a clear sales strategy, and execute it.”

The new strategy encompasses joint marketing campaigns, co-branded collateral, and a collaborative presence at industry events and trade shows, as well as open communication between the two companies with regard to new product development.

“We are constantly launching new product lines and improving existing solutions,” said Karel Schwengler, international sales and export manager of Siegenia-Aubi. “As a global company, we rely on our distribution partners to act as our sales teams and, as such, they need to have in-depth knowledge and understanding of our products.”

Among the new developments is E-Look—an environmentally friendly, high corrosion-resistant hardware finish developed by SIEGENIA-AUBI. Featuring superior wear resistance, E-Look solutions have passed more than 1000 hours in salt spray testing making them ideal for even the most extreme applications, including harsh coastal environments. Interlock USA is in the process of offering E-Look as standard on all of its European hardware solutions.
