Interlock USA Enhances HEMISPHERE® Retractable Insect Screen

The HEMISPHERE® Retractable Insect Screen from Interlock USA has been upgraded with the following enhancements to deliver heightened performance and a greater range of options to customers:

New Finishes: The retractable insect screen solution is now available in new powdercoat colors – Black, Gray, and White – for greater aesthetic diversity, architectural options and understated elegance.
New Heights: The screens have been engineered to accommodate applications of greater magnitude, now available in 2.8 meter (9 foot), 3 meter (9.8 foot) and 3.2 meter (10.5 foot) heights.
New Adjustment Blocks: Newly designed adjustment blocks no longer require fixing screws, and are delivered pre-assembled for quick, easy installation.
Improved Cassette Anchor Blocks: The screens feature easier-to-install cord cassettes with greater tolerance for double screen applications, making screen alignment significantly less critical.
Pre-drilled and Countersunk Aluminum: The top track, bottom channel and jamb mount aluminum extrusions come pre-drilled and countersunk for quicker, easier installation.
No Top Cover Strips Required: The top cover strips have been eliminated and replaced by cassette retainer clips, which snap into place while preventing bowing of the cassettes under tension.
New Handle Bar Plastic Cover Strips: The new screen solution features handle bar cover strips designed to conceal the handle and adjustment block channels.

About the INTERLOCK® HEMISPHERE Retractable Insect Screen

The screen solution is engineered to seamlessly integrate with modern window and door applications, giving homeowners a superior alternative to permanently installed flat screens. HEMISPHERE pleated screens are used only when the window or door is open, providing uninterrupted views to the outside. They stay cleaner because they are fitted on the interior side of the application. Allowing access to the glass for cleaning, the HEMISPHERE Retractable Insect Screen will add greater value to any window or door application. The screen is designed for use on folding doors, sliding doors and French doors, as well as various window solutions, and is the only pleated screen designed to be integrated into window and door applications.

The screen solution is independent of a framing system, comes supplied as a kit, and can be fitted within minutes. It is also the only pleated screen capable of spanning an opening 4.5 meters (15 feet) wide (single-unit application) or 9 meters (30 feet) wide when using double screens. The solution can accommodate applications up to 3.2 meters (10.5 feet) high. Featuring the most advanced technology on the market, the HEMISPHERE Retractable Insect Screen uses precision stainless steel bearings at all wear points, polypropylene UV-stable pleated Italian mesh for durability, and low-stretch Dyneema cords with a patent-pending cord anchor system for extra strength.
