Application Engineer

Interlock USA, Inc, is seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our team in Reno, Nevada. Our company specializes in the design, manufacture, and distribution of innovative and customized hardware solutions for the residential window and door market in North America. Our product line includes advanced systems for sliding and hung windows, casement and awning windows, sliding, swing and folding doors; as well as a full line of European hardware solutions.

The Application Engineering role is an excellent opportunity to join this growing company and to personally develop within a multi-national operating environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in window and door designs, hardware applications, conceptual thinking, and mechanical design within a team environment. He or she should understand the fundamentals of plastics injection, metal forming, and zinc die casting processes. A BS degree in Engineering is required and experience with SolidWorks is preferred. Direct customer communication, hands-on skills and limited travel will be required.
