Demand Planner Supply Chain USA Reno Interlock USA, Inc. Interlock USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our team located in Reno, Nevada. Role Summary: The Demand Planner oversees the planning and forecasting of materials and products. You will create and maintain forecast models, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance and other sources. You will be responsible for continuously improving forecasting processes and systems to meet inventory goals and ensure forecasted demand is in line with revenue targets. You will have energy and enthusiasm for products and take pride being in a team motivated by excellence and growth. You must enjoy working in an open and fast paced environment and possess a "can-do" attitude. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and limited domestic and international travel is required. Microsoft Dynamics AX experience is preferred. Responsibilities: Routinely processes, analyzes and manipulates the forecasting software system Uses forecast data to drive MRP and create recommended orders Evaluates ABC class, slow moving inventory and safety stock to determine MRP parameters Regularly interfaces with Sales and Engineering to optimize the forecast and reduce SLOB inventories Provides forecasted inventory value reporting, and what-if inventory analysis Works with Sales and Engineering teams to plan the successful execution of new product launches and product transitions Creates and sends product specific forecasts to key vendors Develops and documents system best practice processes Measures and communicates forecast accuracy Experience will include: Minimum of 3-5 years in a planning and forecasting role in a global supply chain Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and forecasting software CPIM, CSCP, or CPM certification Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Finance or Statistics Working knowledge of the North American fenestration industry and standards Strong strategic and analytical skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment Must be capable of communicating frequently with multiple departments in a professional manner Ability to work autonomously and adapt and learn quickly Unlock the next step in your career and apply by sending your resume and cover letter to email@example.com.
