Product Manager Product Management USA Reno Interlock USA, Inc. Interlock USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our team located in Reno, Nevada. Our company specializes in designing innovative and customized hardware solutions for the residential window and door market in North America. Our product line includes advanced systems for sliding, hung, casement and awning windows, sliding, swing and folding doors as well as a full line of European hardware solutions. Role Summary: The ideal candidate will have experience in the North American fenestration industry preferably in the window and door hardware end of the business. You will have a passion for products, building and driving new lines of business and translating customer needs into product solutions. You should be able to identify a need, develop a business case and a go-to-market strategy with the ability to take a new product to launch and beyond. You will be responsible for managing and driving product initiatives through the product development lifecycle. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure feature and project deliverables are on target and on time. You will work closely with the sales, marketing and support teams to gain a deep understanding of the needs of our customers and will have a keen eye for identifying and solving problems that deliver true benefits. You will have energy and enthusiasm for customers and products and take pride being in a team motivated by excellence and growth. You must enjoy working in an open and fast paced environment and possess a "can-do" attitude. Direct customer communications, Microsoft Office knowledge, hands-on skills and limited domestic and international travel is required. Solidworks experience is preferred. Responsibilities: Responsible for the product range during the whole life cycle including continuous analysis of product portfolio performance Develop and implement product strategies including range definition and price positioning Create and present Business Cases in conjunction with sales team for project approval Encourage and facilitate knowledge building, networking, cross functional and organizational exchange of information Provide internal and external product training Manage product performance and field issues with coordination between customer, technical and manufacturing teams Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of new and emerging technologies Maintain knowledge and make use of existing products within the ASSA ABLOY Group of companies Travel as required for customer introduction, start-ups, servicing issues and industry events Experience will include: Working knowledge of the North American fenestration industry and standards Management experience including a strong ability to prioritize, plan, organize and execute Technical and/or Engineering degree – min. 2 year degree Working in a technical or engineering environment Strong strategic and analytical skills Experience in relationship management including strong customer service orientation Proficient with CAD and ERP systems–Solidworks and Microsoft Dynamics AX experience preferred Sound knowledge of MS Office applications Hands-on skills – proficient with hand tools and vertical milling machine Unlock the next step in your career and apply by sending your resume and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org.
